Please read & familiarize yourself with the TERMS & CONDITIONS of this Sale. (BUYERS ARE BOUND BY THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS WHETHER YOU READ THEM OR NOT.)

FIRST: All horses will be sold to the highest bidder. If any dispute arises between two or more bidders, the animal in dispute will be put up again for advanced bids. If there are no advanced bids, them the horse shall go to the person from whom the Auctioneer recognized the last bid.

SECOND: Title passes at the buyer’s signing of the acknowledgement of purchase form at which time all risks & responsibility for the horse passes to the buyer.

THIRD: Payment to be made the day of the sale & before the animal leaves the grounds, all registration certificates, transfer forms will be delivered after the buyer’s check clears the bank.

FOURTH: Buyers wanting registration papers (If Available) the day of the sale MUST PAY CASH. All transfers will be completed by the Painted Meadows Sale Committee per AQHA or APHA Rule change.

FIFTH: If arrangements can not be made for the immediate pickup of your horse the facilities where the sale is held are available only until 6:00 PM the day of the sale. BUYERS UNALBE TO REMOVE YOUR HORSES BY 6:00 PM MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE SALE COMMITTEE.

SIXTH: Any horse over 6 months of age will have a Negative Coggins Test.

SEVENTH: Buyer shall pay Transfer Fee, also non members will be billed by AQHA for Membership Fee. AQHA rule change as of Jan. 1, 1989.

EIGHTH: All horses sell sound, unless otherwise stated. Any horse being rejected must be rejected BEFORE the end of the sale.

NINTH: Buyers & spectators are cautioned to be careful while on the grounds & particularly while horses are being shown or sold in the sale ring. OWNERS, THE SALE MANAGEMENT OR ANY OF IT’S EMPLOYEES CAN NOT & WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCINDENTS OF ANY KIND.

TENTH: Painted Meadows Stable is acting only as an agent between buyer & seller.
